Can't believe 240 hasn't replied yet, he can smell my political threads from clear across the country...........either that or he's writing a 1000 word post about giving him 5 good reasons on why Obama shouldn't be the next pres ;D

I love my guns, so I'm voting McCain.  But I shooooore do love to debate it!

Polls have shown that the issue didn't influence Obama's placing in Penn or any other state.  hilary's gaining ground because people want a Clinton to fix the economy.  Obama sagged for 2 weeks and then returned.


Joe, as you know, I watch the news 8-10 hours a day as I work.  FOX is playing Rev Wright clips every hour, twice an hour like clockwork.  This might be good for their ratings - it fires up their base on how much they hate Obama.

But they're ignoring important things.  Did you know there is a little food shortage thing happening?  Did you know we fired on iranian boats today?  Did you know oil is at $120 and truckers are about to strike?

No.  But you do know how much you hate Obama's pastor.  Great.

what are the odds of going to war with Iran under McCain?   

what are the odds of the Supreme Court gaining two more ultra conservatives to overturn Roe v Wade?  to uphold domestic spying?

In the last 3 months...
Unemployment jumps for 3 straight months.
Dollar down 10%.
Oil up $30 per barrel.
Multiple countries STOPPING FOOD EXPORTS to the US.

I know in a 3-month window, these things don't seem too bad.  But what if this continues for the next 6 months?  Dollar down 30%?  Oil up $90 per barrel?  Unemploment at 6.6%?

Hypothetical - Joe - if you lost your home, your business failed, and you couldn't afford gas - would you still care more about Obama's pastor than anything else?

You're in a great situation, but many americans are not.

Yes.  hi-cap magazines, many popular rifles were banned.  1994 brady bill.  Bush let it sunset in sept 2004 :)

LOL hey if the dems do get in power and enact the ban again then our ar-15's with beta-mag drums will be worth double, if you dont have one now S&W are selling a stripped down version with no sights or handle for 800 with a 100 dollar rebate at gun shows.......GET EM WHILE YOU CAN ;D ;D ;D
