Arnold lacked the arm mass at this point of his bodybuilding career.

That came off so ignorant, I'm just gonna go ahead and ignore it.

Okay.

Back when, 240? I see no date on that interview?

Hate to say it, but Arnold lacked the arm mass at this point of his bodybuilding career. Funny how he emulated Oliva and later went on to beating him. Bittersweet victory for Aaaaaanold.

LOOKS INBRED...

Arnold usually had about the same size arms as Sergio, but they were alot more cut.

I would say the opposite, Sergios were a bit larger but maybe not as cut except for 72 when he looked light years better

I wouldn't say lightyears better. It could have gone either way, as different shots favored different guys. Their arms look about even here:

arnold was definitely more cut in this comp, but sergio had the proportions...

maybe if sergio wasn't black he would have been given a sweet contract from weider like arnold got and then sergio could have concentrated more on diet and getting cut.

yeah, sergio had nice round musclebellies flexed and relaxed. his quads and calves from the front, when flexed, look more shapely than arnold's in the above fdb comparison. it would have been interesting to see what would have happened if sergio had come back in 73 to challenege. he was in fantastic shape at the mr international, which was really close to the olympia, timewise.

here's a great shot of them both relaxed. certainly nothing compared to today's 'relaxed.' arnold looks as shapely as sergio here, imo. thicker upper legs really complimented arnold's physique, but in some shots they appeared smaller than they really were, to show off more definition i suppose.

C'mon you must be kidding. Arnold blew Sergio away with that pose.. Both have equal mass and size in the arms but Arnold has way better definition and maturity.

oh yeah, arnie's upper arms definately beat sergio there. i was more saying that the size of their arms were about even.

From the FDB pose Arnolds arms are far superiour to Sergios, Oliva's were big but he had no biceps and lacked definition.
