Maybe that's a self portrait?

Are you putting Kevorkian in the same category as serial killers? Serial killers kill people that don't want to die (who most likely begged for their lives), Kevorkian killed people that did (those that requested his assistance). Not that I think what he did was right, but it is different IMO.

well... not exactly, but he WAS a man who found death and mortality fascinating (i guess as we all do). so his art became bizarre.
