I finally got a rice cooker.

how do I use it?

1 cup dry rice + how much water, for how long?

Also how long can you keep it on 'warm' without it getting mushy or stale?  thanks!

Apparently when you blacken BOTH of their eyes, they cannot see their way around the kitchen.

Mine takes about 15 to 20 mins. to cook.

Try it out and see.

You may want to refrigerate it once it cool down.....I don't know about Florida, but in Nevada, if left out a few hours, it spoils.

A "rice cooker" shuts off automatically, that is why it is called a "rice cooker" and not a "rice burner".......

Thats a slow cooker like a (crock pot)

Just put it on high ...2 parts water and 1 part rice .when its done 20min-30min later. then set it warm and it will last trough out the day.........
