Let me start by saying that I am a big Bob Chick supporter, hell, I'm from Buffalo, you were right down the street from me.
I saw Kovacs at the 1996 Olympia, I had already had VIP tickets for the 1993 & 1995 Olympia. So I DID SEE these guys up close. When I saw Kovacs, It BLEW ME AWAY. I could easily picture him taking the biggest guy in the NFL and throwing him thru a wall. I ALSO did notice that later that evening, his (Girlfriend ?) had to tie his shoes, I guess he was too big to do it himself. Anyway, as much as I worshipped Dorian Yates, There was NO COMPARISON is sheer size. Kovacs arms were the largest I had ever seen, maybe Manfred Hoebel was close, but it was Kovacs that was in a league of his own.
Did you see the video where Kovacs actually measures his arms at roughly 26 inches after I believe a set of preacher curls? It was on the internet. Bob, I realize that you have close contact with these guys on a regular basis, and you have been around enough to know how big a guys arms are, But I KNOW what I saw. He made Paul Dillet look like a dot. Obviosly, he didnt have what is necessary to place high on the pros, but for sheer size, I have NEVER seen anything like him, and that Includes Bill Kazmier in 1993. No comparison. Kovacs made EVERYBODY look small < NASSER, YATES, DILLET. Its trus that his gut was out of control, back in 1996, but he HAD TO WEIGH 360.
What About the video where he actually measures his arms ? How can you explain that ?
