"I served 6 years in the military... does that make me unpatriotic?  How many years did Cheney serve?"

this press conference is obnoxious, for sure.

His message is to UNITE all groups despite their differences.

Very charismatic speaker, I think he'll have a big career even after the election.

During the Q&A, he is absolutely owning the shit out of the reporters.

When a reporter asked the AIDS question, the reverend was ready to argue specifics and evidence, and the reporter was just dumbfounded "um, well, I, so, how can you really think..."

He then cited the tuskegee experiment (US govt admits they gave syphilis to US citizens in prison to study how long it took them to die, the same time AIDS came out in the exact same african villiages we gave polio vaccinations to suddenly all broke out in AIDS when it existed nowhere else on earth.)

How can you argue against that?  Damn...

His approach is very poor and very angry. Thats an old way of trying to change things...and thankfully is not Barack's way. Its hard to listen to his yelling sermons without cringing.  Though some of his critiques may be founded, others are not.  Anyone who believes the US created the AIDS virus to kill blacks is kind of crazy.  He doesn't speak for all black people and we shouldn't give him any more attention than he's already gotten.  I heard several more clips from him and all were painful.  I don't feel like typing them all but there were more clips than the 3 circulating.
He downright criticizes whites and has aggressive angry criticizms of America.

yes - crazy to think we created it to kill any group.

yes - did originate in exact place where we gave shots.  Interpret it however you want.

yes - his speaking style is obnoxious and annoying.

yes - he doesn't need much more airtime.

I like hearing what he has to say.  What are your thoughts Rob?

he annoys the piss out of me.  he's an attention whore, he's immature, and he's way too full of himself.  Just plain obnoxious, making faces and imitations as the reporter asked questions.

But many of his positions are based in fact, and his critics cannot argue them other than to say "come on, do you reallllllly think this or that?"

Right or wrong, he speaks for tens of millions of americans who feel just like he does, a group which cannot be ignored.

...even when that service as Vice pResident involves undermining the very laws of the land?
...even when that service as Vice pResident involves undermining the very Constitution itself?
...even when that service as Vice pResident involves the outing of a covert CIA operative?
...even when that service as Vice pResident involves lining your own pockets while pilfering the treasury?
...even when that service as Vice pResident involves breaking the law by trading with the enemy?

I could go on... but my sides are aching from laughing too hard.

If that's your definition of patriotic, ...I don't even want to know what you consider UNpatriotic.
