SimpleSimon. When I noticed he was basically only logging on here to reply to every post I make with a negative spin or some baseless ad hominem, I used adblock to wipe out his posts/username. It works really well. I don't even know he's here anymore. Now if only DA had discovered that tool on SF, that thread would've taken a different turn altogether.

The thread is a clusterfuck. It's a bad combination of merged topics and multiple deleted posts. I did notice my post warning DA in 2008 to change his ways or end up a statistic on the earlier pages..

Word. You looked out for the guy. Can't begrudge you that.

DA's problem is he had a good physique but used it to cover up a cornucopia of insecurities. In other words, he got in shape in order to show it off on the Internet. That's when the teasing started, and he didn't know how to manage teasing because he always felt the need to convince others of the wrongness of their views. He was the GB equivalent of that William Foster guy in Falling Down.

Yes it's shitty now and really wasn't that great to begin with.

SF delivered many verbal massacres and owned substantial tracts of mental real estate but I don't remember him ever "taking it off the boards".  DA and whoever else was involved crossed the line imo.

This place is supposed to be for fun, when you start going after people's real lives off the boards you have mental issues.

That's a half-truth. SF impugned DA's reputation by slandering him on the Internet in ways that would affect peoples' perception of him irl, including sponsors (i.e. revenue), which definitely fucks with his real life. I don't think splitting hairs about whether he ever posted a civic address of a house or not is what protects him from being put in the same category of stalking as DA (or better said, DA's informants). He's just as bad.

If DA didn't want people posting mean things about him here then maybe he shouldn't have acted like such a jackass all the time.  That is sort of the risk you take when you present yourself as a public figure in a place like this and he should probably have changed his behavior or took his act elsewhere if it somehow affected him professionally.

It's not like SF was emailing "sponsors" (whoever sponsored DA?) telling them to drop him or not hire him.

Both parties are guilty. One is dead, one is gone. Let's just leave it at that.

That's a 16-16.5" arm. It's just the angle and the fat that makes it looks 18-19".

Kidney failure and on dialysis over a year, heart disease and multiple coronary stents and the final straw was liver cancer. Second chemo treatment made him pretty sick and he died. He was just too run down from his kidney disease to withstand chemo.

Funny they buried him with "Springer." He seemed ashamed of that shit.
