Will Operation Chaos work in Indiana?
« on: May 06, 2008, 01:50:52 PM »

It will be interesting to see if Operation Chaos works in Indiana, as I have had more than a number of friends have fun and vote for Hillary there.

It might, but I say it's all over but the crying for Hillary.

it's within 20k votes with 10% left to count.

Rush definitely won this one.  media pointing it out nonstop.

Which means the dem superdelegates will now back Obama.

Anyone who voted to screw up the political system of this country with the purpose of mischief should carry that with them the rest their lives. What a ridiculous way to use the vote for which people fought and died, to use that vote to make mischief. I hope you're proud of yourself.

Operation Chaos worked brilliantly.  And kept her in the race. It is funny to watch the bickering, with all the main Democrats begging Hillary to concede, yet her doing nothing, praying for an act of god, or something else, or that 'smiking gun' that will come out to propel Hilarry to become the nominee...

At least before the Republicans bring it out in October.

Operation Chaos worked brilliantly.

If Rush stopped now - Yes.

But he's looking like a fool by saying "I'm now releasing all the superdelegates to endorse obama".

It was never a goal of his, and it's somethign they are going to do anyway.

And him saying "We wanted Obama all along!" when Rove and others quietly said in memoes that Hilary was the one they wanted due to her high disapproval rating, well, that's disingenuous of Rush.  He's trying to save face that Op Chaos didn't impact much.  Hilary scraped a win, the whole party qualified it as worthless due to Rush's involvement, and it pretty much propelled Rush to the nomination.

I wouldn't like to see EITHER party manipulate the system that many have fought and died for - just to have fun and drag things out.  Rush showed he puts party before America.  I don't repect people like that.

Douche Limbag didn't have anything to do with the Indiana race.

It was always predicted to be a close race and he just milked it with his withered old teets.

Witness the recent protest votes in Indiana, where 23% of Republicans voiced their disaffection with McCain. In North Carolina the number was an even higher 26%.

Another libertarian messiah-in-waiting, Bob Barr, entered the race president today, giving the disaffected a glimmer of hope on what, to them, seems a set of woeful ballot choices.

But back to the Paul faithful. What exactly do Paul's guerrilla warriors plan to do come convention time?

They hope to demonstrate their disagreements with McCain vocally at the convention through platform fights and an attempt to get Paul a prominent speaking slot. Paul, who's running unopposed in his home Texas district for an 11th House term, still has some $5 million in war funds and has instructed his followers that their struggle is not about a single election, but a longterm revolution for control of the Republican Party.

In short, they hope for nothing less that a coup, and we're not talking de Ville, either. And hey, look who's #1 on the New York Times Bestseller List. If you thought that Paul and his supporters would simply slip back into the Republican tent and make nice with John McCain, you were a tad mistaken. With all the potential turmoil, it's a good thing that bars will stay open until 4 a.m. during the convention. One gets the sense that a few of McCain's supporters will need a good stiff one after dealing with the Paul crowd.

A win for RP is that 40 million young people suddenly wake the fck up to the insanity of our perpetual borrowing-for-warring policy.  RP will never be the president, but one of the people who subscribes to his belief might, in 8 or 12 or 16 years.

Joe, both sides are corrupt as fck.

However, only the repubs are attempting to dismantle the democratic process of another party.

Shame on them for that, and I'd be yelling shame on the dems if they were doing it too.

One person doesn't equal all the repubs. Beside, he's not trying to do that and you know it so why do you keep insisting he is?

He is intending to disrupt the nomination process of the democrats.

Do you disagree?

You missed the point. It's not about putting him in the White House, it's about bringing the constituion to the forefront of politics again. It's about smaller government and liberty. It's about spreading the message, that's it.
