Werewolf transformation
« on: May 06, 2008, 10:31:14 PM »
Considering the year, 1981, this has to be the best transformation effect. This was when guys used their imaginations and made some of the most fucked up effects ever. They don't make this kinds stuff anymore, it's all computer animation.

They're doing old fashioned effects for the new movie, The Wolf Man, starring Benicio Del Toro. It comes out in February 2009.

The awesome Rick Baker is doing the effects. As make-up artist go, there is no one better. He's the one who did those effects for "An American Werewolf in London." He won an Oscar for it. In fact, he has won several.

That was cutting edge for the time. Baker won an Oscar for that movie's special effects. It was one of many. 8)

That looked one step above Teen Wolf.

I loved that movie back in the day though.
