Actually if you are going by the reaction of a crowd Ben Stein holds his own each and every time and so does Hovind. If 9-10 think he is ignorant then he would be ignorant, but clearly this isn't the case. It's your opinion that he is ignorant, however you'r entitled to your own opinion.

it is not my opinion, he is at odds with scientific fact which is easily disproved everytime he opens his mouth. Both cant be right, and hovind is dismissed very easisly.

And your right he is or was in jail, but your comment was about ignorance and only people that believe in evolution would consider him ignorant, clearly  a biased opinion. The Apostle Paul was also in jail and he is consider by people living in hundreds of countries to be a very important in all of history so what is there to figure out.
