Suckered?  They're paying him $24 mil over four years.  He wasn't going to win a championship with Shaq.  Why not get paid and have lower expectations?

Suckered? He's looking to get paid, dude. I think he realizes his window of opportunity was closed in Phoenix. He probably needed a fresh start.

He might make a difference in NY. Isiah's a shitty coach and the Knicks do have some talented players to build around. They just don't know how to play basketball as a team.

There are no such thing as bad players in the NBA, only bad TEAMS. Most times, the right coach is what brings it all together.

Let's be honest - who *couldn't* win 50 games with a healthy Steve Nash and Amare Stoudamire? 

If this team had kept Marion, they'd be in the 2nd round right now.  Would love to have seen Nash vs Paul.

The worst decision EVER!!!  The Knicks will not be any good for at least 10 years.  And if you think lebron will bolt Cleveland for NY after 2009 think again.  If that Cavs make a serious play for Agent Zero this summer, Lebron will have his Scottie Pippen.  GO CAVS

What?? are u joking?? Arenas plays fuck all defense, he parks his ass at the 3pt line on offense and defense, not to mention his injury-prone and isnt healed yet, and its been 2 years, he will be a good additon but no a pippen type, pippen was warrior, arena's is talented like 99% of the league but his not a warrior.

It's the Dolan's that are the problem. Knicks can't win with the worst owners in the NBA. J Crawford, and Lee are nice players, and you know Mike D is gonna do anything to get rid of Marbury. If they get lucky in the Lotto, draft someone great, and convince that idiot to spend $ above the Lux tax to woo in some better/stable talent, then they could be 7-8 seeds within 3 - 4 years, man, that's a lot of if's.....

That's fine with me.  Lebron can drive and kick out to him.  I love Wally.  He's an Ohio guy and played in the MAC, but he has not been consistent
