i was backstage at that show (san diego). those pictures dont do it justice. that shit looked horrible!!! guy hardly spoke english and he looked shocked when he didn't win.
Has anyone ever met this man? Does he really believe he looks good or that he belongs on a contest stage? Or that he looks good to women? or men? He obviously has body dysmorphic disorder; does he have other obvious serious problems? Does he have what most people would consider a normal life of school, work, family, friends, etc.?
I am not trying to be insulting but his body obsession, implants, willingness to compete on stage, and be photographed suggests a mental departure from reality even by the standards of the bodybuilding world. One has to wonder why people in his life whom care about him did not dissuade him from pursuing this folly or correcting it.
There are many oddities in bodybuilding I can make sense of: bad judging, an asymmetrical physique, breast implants, G4P, Gay-4-charity, Gay-4-pleasure, porn, Superman tattoos and costumes, sex with a grapefruit, overdosing on supplements, etc. but this is on a whole other scale. There is something terribly sad about this fellow.
Having said all this, I admit I want to see more of this, um, physique.
