The U.S. first in line again to help another country in a time of need. Bodies retrieved as quake toll tops 12,000 . . . "The Chinese government on Tuesday accepted an American offer of $500,000 in relief aid, according to an official with the U.S. Agency for International Development. However, China has not asked for other disaster assistance.". . . http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/05/13/china.quake/index.html
Maybe China can lend the US a few more billion dollars a day to show their thanks.
Maybe they can agree to help rid us of the scourge of Chinese restaurants. I hate Chinese food.BTW, I saw a restaurant called Fook Yuen the other day.
I really like Hawaiian food. And hawaiian people are so diverse, liberal, and open minded. Seriously, a lot of homosexuals out there, and they're quite proud of it. I say, good for them@
Yes, Beach Bum has a way of depicting Hawaii as the cultural Mecca of the world.
I don't get it, why the fuck would a cash cow like the Chinese government need a donation of $500K? Surely that's peanuts to them? Surely they could easy skim $500K of the daily interest they make lending money to the western world?
This is weird though a cyclone, then a earthquake. Kinda reminds me of Voltaire's Candide gotta question the things that go around in this world and how things happen faster than a snap.
