SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- Major League Baseball home run record holder Barry Bonds was charged with 14 counts of lying to a grand jury and one count of obstruction of justice in a new indictment that was a result of the BALCO doping investigation.

yes the government is spending millions of dollars investigating athletes here for steroids.... money well spent. when the truth is... mlb is the most looked at.... why are guys in the nfl today destroying records set by guys in the 70's and 80's with no drug testing(even though lyle alzado(sp?) admitted steroid use was rappent in the nfl)? hmmmmmmmm america demands bigger and better.. all pro athletes abuse juice. its the mlb that got caught,

Exactly. Sports have evolved rapidly after the 70's. And only because of 1 thing: juice.

Nowadays drug testing is done, but it doesn't change a thing when athletes are using masking techniques coming from chemical scientists.
