OMG check out the recedeing that has begun. I can only guess what has caused this, but I would be worried I would go bald soon if I were him.

Also depends on what Kai uses to get his hair to look the way it does. Back in the old OLD days, black people used lye to get their hair to straighten, and then shaped it into a "conk" or "pompadour." Another term, "fried dried and laid on the side."
I'm sure lye is not used any longer, but harsh chemicals yes.
And of course, most of that pony tail that Kai has, is more than likely extensions!

Kai has a decent shaped head unlike ben white so he will still look alright with a shaved head.. but it may be hard for him to cut off that hair because it probably took 3-4 years to grow lol.

One reason guys grow a goatee when balding/shaved head, is because you "need something to look at" rather than all that dome!
