I think most pros back in day had lesser developed delts, which kinda added to the illusion of a much larger chest and biceps.

Pros back in the day probably trained arms much harder that the pros of today.

that could be true.

I see many similarities.
Kai, however, has much better calves.

Yes...they look very suspect for synthol...IMO...although RR did have weak calves, indeed.

;) muscles in the old days grew because of site specific training ! Today the guys take so many drugs everthing grows including the tissue surrounding the muscles ! And since a muscles size is limited to its lenth the spillover growth growth actually takes away from the mane mucles look ! ( thats why you dont see any pros with larger arms them SERGIO or larger pecs then ARNOLD ect despite weighing much more at similar heights  ! The site specific art of bodybuilding has been lost to the omeba like groth caused by excessive drugs ! Cheers !

Pretty good, Bossman.

Kyomu, you are kindof saying the same thing as me.

Cool...leave it at that.

But this "hope this helps" crap...c'mon...aren't you like....55 years old or something?

Wars start with your kind of mindset, pahdnuh
Ok I apologize to you about "Hope this Help"Phrase. i am sorry.

But I am sick and tired of people who dont give an explanation during debate and escaping saying "Leave MY opinion.".
I think its not sincere.
Imagine, if science academys doctors behave like you....ITS TOTALY MEANINGLESS.
They only want the truth. So thats why they debate. So they dont DEFEND THEIR opinion. Because they are always prepared for abandon their opinion for parsuing the truth.

So I wanted to hear your opinion in detail and why you are not agreed with me, but still you dont give me the reason.
Sorry. But I am honest. This is not a debate and quite boring.

The old-timers seem to think you can shape your physique any way you want through training. I'm sure you do too.

It's all genetics.
Look at the shot I took of Sergio at the 84 Olympia and compare it with the one from the late 60's. I think his peak has improved there, showing you can improve peak.

Okay.

Clearly delineate what it is you want my opinion on, and I will give it gladly.

I wonder if it's the emphasis on insanely huge lats. So everyone's spending more time doing pullups/downs (with their palms facing forward) than bicep curls. That's going to change how your biceps develop both in shape and size.

Could be ...but strange.

Think of the first bdyoart folks train...usually biceps.

Someone says...lemme see your muscle...you pop out the bis...

So I don't know why this most telling of bodyparts has seemingly been de-accentuated...

Of course. Everything has meaning and meaningless. We are not doing Buhdism or taoism or absolute truth of debate.
Here just i said Its meaningless in the defenition of gathering and make a debate for persuing one common truth.
Get it?

Thanks, Moose. example #2 .Larry Scott as a young man, and then in his ealy 50's after he said he specifically trained for a higher peak. The shape of the muscle has clearly changed.

Stop saying like this and just look at the difference of spination! ;D

You're very foolish if you can't see the difference in the Larry Scott picture. His slightly different wrist turn couldn't make that big a difference.

And how about Sergio Oliva?
Just slight angle or flexing and spinating make HUGE difference.
