You need huge delts to wedge the bar in like he's doing.. Anyone tried his way?

I was thinking the same thing. I have to squeeze the bar with both my hands against my throat to keep balance. Uncomfortable. The way he does it is excellent.

But he won't go very far if he doesn't start doing 1/2 reps and 1/4 ROM with big weights like other pros

The only other pro I have seen that meets and exceed this wt/reps is Ronnie in his Unbelievable vid.
lb for lb this guy has some great power, near perfect form, etc.
