Best place to eat if you're on a budget is Ellis Island Casino. Not classie but great food and a great place to start off the evening. They make their own beer and it's good beer. It's located on Koval Lane behind Paris.
NEVER PAY A COVER CHARGE! There are always guys on the Strip offering comped tickets into most all of the better Strip Clubs. Have him give you one or two of each club he has and give him a $10 tip. Check the fine print on the "pass" to see it you have got to use it before a certain time.
If you are staying at one of the hotels that has a good club, ask for a night club comp at the front desk or ask the guy who takes your bags to the room. Tipping is appreciated.
THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay is the much preferred tower of the Mandalay Bay Hotel complex. Each room is a real suite which means it has a small living room and a good size bedroom and a full size bath and a half bath. If you can beat $149 a night for one of these rooms, consider yourself getting a good deal. As far as I am concerned, it's the best room in LV and I have stayed at them all. The Venetian, Palazzo and the Wynn come close but are not as great.
Make sure you visit the European Pool at Mandalay Bay. if you are a hotel guest, they'll more than likely let you check it out and possibly even stay for the day. In most cases there is an extra fee.
As mentioned earlier Rehab at the Hard Rock is only on Sundays (summer only) but it is considered to be the best Pool Party in Las Vegas. If you want to live high on the hog, rent a cabana and throw a party. My nephew rented a poolside cabana with his credit card and left instructions to let him know when the bar bill hit $1,000. Didn't take too long before the host informed him that he hit $1,200 but they were having such a great time that he threw caution to the wind and ended with a $3,000 on+ tab. ANd that figure is very easy to reach at the Rehab. Those ladies love to drink when someone else loves to pay and loves to keep the party hopping and continue it in the suite upstairs.
