Geneva-Obesity contributes to global warming, too.

Obese and overweight people require more fuel to transport them and the food they eat, a team at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine says.

This adds to food shortages and higher energy prices, the school's researchers Phil Edwards and Ian Roberts write today in the journal Lancet.

"Promotion of a normal (weight) would reduce the global demand for, and thus the price of, food," they wrote. -Reuters

The argument can be made ala what the researchers regarding as 'overweightedness'....if you are too heavy, even with muscle, you could be a culprit.

But I would not condemn bb's...they are goal driven...and lean mass is healthy, and so on and so forth.

As for their toy trucks....well...not just bb's drive these compensatory vehicles.

 A famous psychologist here at Yale proposed a 'Fat Tax' some years ago.

Very sound idea...but he caught all the flak in the world over it.

He felt, if you buy cheese, there'd be a 10% tax on doing so.

I understand...but you know nobody can MAKE you feel anyway about anything. There are internal mechanisms to control your feelings.

There sloth is nearly always their own doings.

As far as complaining about movie house and airline seats being too small, etc., I feel they should pay extra.

They ACT confident. They like to portray that they are in control.

But, in actuality, they are not.

In fact, most times, the very fact that Fats think they are 'all that', or whatever, belies what they really feel inside.

That they are not in control.

I must say, if I am watching , let's say, a financial channel, and they have an 'expert' on who maybe is extremely successful in his or her field, and they are obese...

...Then I don't believe their success.

THEY don't believe their own success.

True success comes with comfort...and the successful endeavor provides the comfort and well being.

Overweights usually seek their success and comfort through overeating.

That is VERY true.

The heart does not care...resistance is resistance.

Its why guys like Ronnie...at 44...should REALLY consider getting down to 210 or so.
