Through the act of just lifting weights (NO CARDIO), do we really lose fat?
Well, when I lift weights in the gym, I'm sweating like a mofo, so I MUST be losing calories and in turn fat in the process. Is this not the case?
sweating is only a indication of raised internal body temperature.
only an indication?
i saw a skinny dude sweat like hell the other day doing squats
And how much would you say your internal body temperature fluctuates?
shut up queer bait you have no right to contradict me. up the post count and earn some respect from me anfd then ill answer your futile questions
lol. nope. look at all the powerlifters and "off season" bodybuilders who work out with great intensity 4-5 times a week and yet they are still very fat...
IMO it depends on ur diet, u can also do cardio all day and be fat if u eat junk, i belive weight lifting can be subtituted with cardio if ur doin it right
yea i agree, what you eat in the few hours before lifting will determine if you are burning fat or not. personally i always make sure im not burning fat when im lifting. i drink sugar and get my insulin elevated... and i a bunch of meat before hand too.
I will explain when I get to my regular computer.
I'm on a golf course waiting for the hacks in front of us!!
as long as you are burning more calories than you take in you will lose weight.you can do it by lifting weights or by a combination of weights and cardio.if you choose to lose weight be only weight training then your diet has to be on point because you have less room for mistakes.caloric intake is probably the biggest factor, if you over eat it doesn't matter what you do, you will get zero results.
