I must say, however...that nearly everyone on this site misunderstands the correct meaning of 'symmetry'.

Symmetry=if you were to cut a person in half, from top of head to groin...both sides would be mirror images of each other, if they had perfect symmetry.

Proportion=Arms match calves, lower body balanced with upper body, etc.
