I'd take a ford GT over both those cars, and I'm a huge fan of all euro cars. Not only is the GT a MONSTER, it has a ton of charector. The GT and the ENZO are overpriced. I don't get a wow factor at all from the Porsche GT, and the Enzo is blah - (imo).
Jermey Clarkson would agree with me
The thing about the Enzo, is that it looks llike a big anteater. It was designed (styled by a Japanese guy) and the back end doesn't look like it belongs to the front end. It looks best in black, where it has a preternatural look to it. Supposedly a way more visceral experience than the GT. The Gt is great, but they f-up on it. They (Ford) had finagled a way to get money so that it would be put in production as a 2005 model, but they settled on a supercharged truck engine, while they were doing that, a team was developing a V10. When the GT went in production, they should have had more development on the car, and stuck the V10 in it, but that 600+ HP engine went in the Shelby GR1 Concept car. Then Ford F-uped again by putting the same engine in the Shelby GT500. This took away the exclusivity of that 5.4 supercharged engine.
I also liked the Ford GT90 better than the GT, because t took the design to another level, whereas the GT, designed by Jay Mays, was just a remix of the old GT40. That Being said, the GT looks best in all black, with black wheels.
I own a Dealership and had a GT that I sold. I've never driven an Enzo but had a few F430's so I would say the Enzo without a doubt since I would take a F430 over the GT...The GT has a stupid clutch that's a pain in the ass to drive. I've been to Skip Barbers racing school so driver error isn't the issue, it's just a race design and not for daily driving. An F1 wins all around for pleasure imo...
Yeah, it's been said that the Carrera GT's clutch is one trick mofo. But there is this Youtube vid of this dude in Saudi Arabia who is racing a M5 and he is drifting all over the place all over the place like it's video game...you can't do this in the States
