doctors say, one glass is good for you, but unfortunately it doesn't stay with one glass very often. You get used to it, so in the first 3 weeks you might drink only one glass, but then you end up with drinking more and more.
So people with a drinking habit should limit themselves to one or two glasses of red wine per day, but with people who do not drink, it's safer to stay away from it and not make it a habit.

When I decide to have 1-2 glasses of wine or champagne, it is pretty easy for me to stick to that. No way would I go on to drink a whole bottle after a nice dinner, because it would ruin the meal and make me feel like shit.
I have been addicted to other activities in life but alcohol has never been a problem for me. I can do with it or without it for months at a time depending on my mood. I'll probably do a little whisky damage while watching UFC 84 this weekend though.
