I think I listened to Thunderstruck on my sweet cassette walkman for five years or so every workout when I was younger.

"Enter Sandman" by Metallica is always good. As is "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns n Roses.

Showing my age but it's still mostly grunge and late 90's rock for me. When they start making better music like that, I'll get new shit

Them Bones is usually the first song I play on my ipod when I'm in the gym.

Definitely. I've been listening to it for longer than I can remember now and it never gets boring.

dimmu borgir - puritania
marilyn manson - the beautiful people
nine inch nails - wish

dry kill logic - give up, give in, lie down

Another fav of mine is Ozzy's album Ozzmosis.  Lots of great songs on there, some heavy metal, some heavy-metal pop-kinda songs.

Sometimes I'll just put the radio on a light rock station but I always notice my lifts suck when I do.  I do best with gangsta rap or heavy metal.  Drives my wife crazy to hear that blasting in the garage.

what do you use for discovery? i'm a fan of last.fm and Pandora myself. or i'll just pick a CD i like on amazon and start going through "people who looked at this album also looked at..." and fire up bittorrent.
