the wings outplayed us even in that game, they are just a more experienced and talented team from top to bottom

maybe if malkin didn't get "tired" and played like he did in the other series it would've been closer

and you guys don't need this more than us, the wings have 3 cups since 97 and I think 10 in their history

we have 2, which we won in 91 -92 and we were one of the worst teams from 02 - 06

it's very disappointing to lose in the title game, even though it's a great accomplishment to make it there the fall just seems a little harder the further you climb the mountain

we have a lot of great young players so hopefully we can be like the oilers in the 80's by rebounding and winning a few

realistically we are done, the wings totally outplayed us in 4 straight games

another thing is the wings constantly clutch and grab but i guess the refs can't call a penalty every 30 seconds

You might get a seven game series out of this now. That was a major hurdle to win at Detroit and now they have the confidence knowing that they can get it done there if the series goes to seven games.

I would be optimistic as well because they overcame a huge mental hurdle(winning in Detroit).

One game at a time, though. If they win at the Igloo, they will come to Detroit with a ton of confidence for game seven.
