Yes it's odd and my friends irl make fun of me about posting here, but I like this place so fuck em. Now, when I found this place 2 years ago I was looking for advice about some supplement or something. But I found the V board,  and realized this place was funny and had some interesting characters and was pretty much no holds barred so I got kind of hooked. Yet, in the two years I have been here I haven't debated about which musclestud looks better than the next cuz I am not a homosexual. Are you trying to tell me that men can comment for days on end about other mens bodies and be straight? is that what you really think or are you just stalking me again with you gimmick account? I have only been to pro level in the US, never amatuer, but say the Arnold looks to be 50/50. Olympia maybe 40% women. Prejudging attendence tend to be male dominated every US show I have been to.

The Arnold yes, normal women and people. It is a first class show - they will fly in enterntainment from all over - world class acrobats from China etc. It is a fantastic production - all these stage effects and crap. Regular people go, I have sat with people who are clueless about bb.

Um, the Olympia has more  - well - bb type. Very hardcore. Still some normal chicks. Like my friend, she like does 'aerobics" lol. More hardcore though.

I too like going to the gym, but I don't care about Pro BBing. I used to be somewhat into it, but not to the extent that I see here. Maybe it's not a sexual thing arguing about how muscle hunks look, and I agree that everyone should be able to discuss anything they want, but like I said if you take a step back and think about some of the things that supposedly straight guys talk about on here, like a 3 year debate about a white BBer vs. a black BBer, and their various bodyparts, it is kind of weird. I think it would be interesting to tell your co-workers or friends to read this site for a few days or a week and hear what normal people think about the discussions here. Nine times out of ten people will think that this is a gay website, I know my friends do. The things that people talk about on here are just plain creepy for straight dudes to discuss. I'd say it's about 50-50. 
At the local and regional shows (and even alot of the national amateur shows), 90-95% of the audience is friends/family of the competitors and other competitors/future competitors.  Alot of women are there, esp considering how big figure has gotten.
At the pro shows, it depends on what else is going on, but you get a good mix, esp at shows like the arnold and olympia where there's all kinds of stuff going on.
