Shawn looked incredible, however i always thought his front lat spread looked strange...almost squashed up.
Calves were high. not as incredible as people seem to think...very picky tho. unbelievable physique.

Shawn and Lee Labrada were both VERY impressive. They both NEVER tried to chase the monsters around them for size and were unfortunately penalized for it.

Shawn was WAY MORE complete than 3 time Mr. Olympia Frank Zane, or Chris Dickerson. His 2nd place was respectable, but it was a slap in face that he could never be #1 because of his lack of bodyweight and height.

Actually his career makes more sense then any other pro: He won a low pro show then the Arnolds, second best show, then focused on the Olympia. So you can say he won only 2 pro shows or you can say the only show he didn't win was the Olympia, afterall taylor, cormier, and Charles are all multiple show winners and they aren't considered as great as Ray.

I believe that Shawn was the most complete bodybuilders of not only the 1990's, but of all time. Definitely one of the most symmetrical. He competed in the wrong era though. He could have beaten Zane, Columbo, Dickerson and would beat Gutler today. Possibly Yates too in 1994 and Coleman in the early 2000's.
