1805.
I don't remember much of my history class from this time period.
I was watching history channel yesterday. Something about in 1805, under jefferson, we sent diplomats and troops to tripoli in the first example of american colonialism. We were just 22 years old, and already burying our claws into other nations for their resources. Anyone familiar with this time in history?
