none of us were good enough

honors chest and abs were the leanest

alexxx was lean in the hamstrings and neo was aswell

getrowdys most muscular upper body shot only had the best lines but no lower body

i think i was the best but others had better lower backs and hamstrings wich are my weakness. also my abs were a weakness but others had weak abs except honor

even though honor didnt have legs, id say it was a threeway tie between me alexxx and honor. really too close to call. this time im going to bring it all the way

they're all quite looking the same and achieved almost the same maximum upper body muscular mass a natty can get, the only difference is that some really worked on their legs while the others almost completely overlooked that bodypart.

It's refreshing to see something real for once, I 'm just not even amused by the usual roided physiques anymore that are plastered all over the board.

you should compete in the next comp FLACCID FALCON, you do talk alot of trash im sure you can back it up too!

its all good, i thought of the same approach but all i can think of is standing infront of a standard dorway, and documenting the exact height, i beleive a standard doorway is 6 feet8 . so all one has to do is verify the door hieght and snap a pic in front of it

but im not worried in the slightest groink im going to shred everyone to peices. then i plan on being president in 2012 ushering in planet nibiru among other things

However, in my book, part of the real sport of bodybuilding is having the guts to get up on stage and pose down for real in front of everyone else.

At an NPC show, you might be posing for 5-10 minutes in front of 50 to 500 people.  Most of them are seated pretty far away and only vaguely look if their kid/bf/gym mate isn't in that particular round.

At the Mr Getbig 3, you have the opportunity to be scrutinized by thousands of people.  They're all seated 12 inches from their monitor.  They can study your physique for as long as they wish to find flaws or make comparisons.  There is no hiding, no 'hoping someone won't notice'.  

And the feedback?  Oh brother... at a real show, you get the judges' results, and maybe some verbal feedback if you ask a judge.  At the mr. getbig, you get dozens or hundreds of comments, from friendly to brutally mean.  Every flaw is pointed out, repeatedly.  

In my opinion, it takes a lot more courage to put your pics online, in a place where you spend time everyday, and be scrutinized by honest and sometimes cruel people who can view your flaws for hours with 800x zoom if they'd like.  If you can do the Mr Getbig, you can do any show.




Personally - I play in a band and I'm onstage 2-5 nights per week playing for dozens or hundreds of strangers, and it's zero scrutiny compared to how I feel when I click one pic for getbig feedback.

It is easier online, especially my division lol, and has some benefits [retake pics etc] but you definitely get torn apart. Far less of that IRL, far.

Besides, it's the only option we have. Off the top of my head I can think of at least 20 nations represented on Getbig - unless someone coughs up a million or so - we are not about to all get together and have a show realistically.

Overall, I think the get big contest is fun, and intersting. I see NOTHING wrong with it and will enjoy seeing the pics of those that enter and the comparisons.

I've been on a real stage many times Howie, in many nations, so am quite familar with it.

It's all in the way you look at it - glass half empty of half full. We have no other choice, if we as 'getbiggers' want to have a contest - this is the only way. Last year 4 nationalities were involved spanning 3 continents, which is actually kind of cool. Look at the positive, not the negative. While thousands of guys busted their ass on a 'real stage' for a trophy, all our guys took home cash.

I haven't seen your pics, but if you're in shape, enter the show.  I'm sure Honour looks like a regular guy in the office, at 157 pounds.   But the $2k he won last year is more than Ben White will earn at a pro show in the next 2 years.
