Gayer than perhaps, but derailing America (from a terrorist point of view) by murdering the president = not that useful. Murdering Bush would probably just stirr up some shit (and making a lot of people happy), and getting a new prez into teh office while tightening security.

Having a black president stirs a lot of hate up in the racist groups. With irrational racist thinking, the motivation to kill him would be greater because the goal = not to maximize damage to America (from a terrorist point of view), but to remove the threat to racist ideology.
