Gayer than considering yourself lucky. I feel no such obligation, since I have no idea where the money is really going, and I consider it inappropriate for a business to essentially panhandle from their customers.
gayer than NOT agreeing with you until recently when I worked with the Red Cross for Katrina...and yes, even they don't know where the hell the money is going, it's unaccounted for...YET, there still seems to be VERY WELL paid employees of the red cross

I'm sorry, but when millions of dollars are going to an organization trusting that they're going to use it for a specific purpose, and they don't show their accounts, receipts, purchases etc. etc. you almost have to be an idiot to give them your money.
