AP: Clinton says she's open to being Obama's VP
« on: June 03, 2008, 12:24:23 PM »
It's official.  Hilary tells the AP today that she would accept the job.

All you kids who said "She'd never accept it!", please get a marker and write "owned" on your forehead.

240, what about the "whitey" tape?

Until I hear it, it's about as real as beachCum's phD.

Damn, I was one of those who didn't think she'd be VP.  I still don't know if Obama would ask her...though, thats his best bet to unify the party & get elected.

Will never happen, unless they want to guarantee a McCain victory in November.

Why do you think nominating Clinton would hurt Obama so much?  People that support Obama but do not like Hillary will still likely vote for an Obama presidency with her as VP.  The people that don't care for Obama are already going to vote McCain.  By not nominating her as VP, I think a lot of her supporters may stay home or vote for McCain.

Good point.  People usually vote the top of the ticket.  I think the differences here are Hillary is just too polarizing.  Her negative poll numbers are extremely high.  She may bring her camp to the polls, but she will also energize the opposition.

If hillary is so polarizing then why is she giving Obama a run for the money.........millions have voted for her.....I think some people want others to hate her so they spew this shit.  The numbers say different.

She has millions of supporters.  She also has millions who hate her.

The numbers have consistently said this:

"According to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll, the New York senator's personal approval rating has dropped markedly, and those that hold a negative view of her have reached 48 percent — the highest in that poll since March 2001. Just 37 percent now have a positive view of Clinton — down from 45 percent two weeks ago."

Douche Bum is a more appropriate name than beachCum.
