I drink 4 to 5 gallons of milk every week.  I'd recommend fat free because there is more protein per serving than whole, 2%, or 1%.  What's gonna build you more muscle an extra gram of protein or a few grams of fat?

I'm sick of this milk mania. Milk is not a good source of protein!

Layne Norton says:

Calcium Caseinate is produced using the insoluble portion of milk protein and taking it through another chemical reaction to purify it.

Pros:

It gels in the stomach during digestion causing a slow, sustained increase in plasma amino acid levels, which can remain elevated for up to 7 hours longer than the increases caused by whey. Since the plasma amino acid levels remain elevated for a longer period of time, casein is also more anti-catabolic than whey due to suppressing skeletal muscle protein breakdown to a greater degree. Calcium caseinate is also much less expensive (compared to micellar casein).

Cons:

It only produces about half the increase in protein synthesis as what whey does, and is therefore not as anabolic. Casein also has a reduced concentration of BCAA's compared to whey and is not as bioavailable as whey. Calcium Caseinate is inferior to micellar Casein because it is denatured during processing.

YEAH CASIENE = ANTI CATABOLIC, WHEY=ANABOLIC

JUST LIKE RED MEAT = ANTI CATABOLIC, WHILE EGG WHITES = ANABOLIC

I PREFER WHOLE FOOD TO SUPPLEMENTS ANY DAY

DRINK EGG WHITES INSTEAD OF WHEY...ITS CHEAPER THAN REGULAR WHEY CONCENTRATE PER SERVING YET WORKS EXCACTLY LIKE THE EXPENSIVE WHEY ISOLATES

I used to do that when I first started training as a teenager - got bigger and stronger but also got fat as hell with it - drinking full fat milk is not a good idea IMO - better off sticking with semi-skimmed or very low fat - it's still got the same amount of protein in it so go for that instead. I currently have four pints of semi-skimmed a day with whey protein powder mixed in and that provides me with a large percentage of my protein intake. The rest I get from chicken and red meat.

Its not the best. I have never really sat down and figured out a diet.
Usually i blend 50-100grams peanut butter with one pint whole milk and have that 3 times perday, upon waking, mid afternoon, and before bed.
i try to make sure i have 1 chicken and baked potato meal per day usually in the evening.
As for the rest of the day i have no real structure to my meals, tends to be snacking on simple carbs...cookies etc.

I'm trying to bulk up and have read about high fat diets increasing hormones for the natrual lifter.
I'm definately not a skinny guy with a real low bf percentage. im prob around 15-20%
