What inspires Hillary supporters?
« on: June 04, 2008, 10:01:49 AM »
BayGBM and some others are Hillary supporters.  They say "experience, experience"  But is any level of "experience" worth making a deal with the most polarizing she-devil to come down the pike... perhaps ever?

No. I'm just a garden variety idiot with limits to his idiocy. :) Even I'm not stupid enough to vote for Hillary or think she has my interests at heart.

Their (Hillaridiots) problem is in being unable to admit that Bill Clinton's presidency is over. Without a doubt, Bill Clinton was the most gifted polititian of the modern era. I didn't agree with a most of his policies but no one has ever been a better liar (polititian) than him, probably not even JFK. For some strange reason they really want to believe that Hillary being president will revive the Clintonesqe joy liberals had for 8 years. Also, most of her serious supporters are Socialists who believe there is no problem taxes can't cure. I do find it amusing that a multimillionaire has the cajones to talk with out of work steelworkers about class warfare especially since her husband wanted NAFTA/GAT so badly.

Ultimately, they share Hillary's view on how intrusive the Govt. should be in our lives.

How does support for Bill translate to support for Hillary though?
Bill appealed to middle of the road folks and lefties. Not polarizing. I guess the Bill legacy translated some in the beginning, but once the Clinton's began polarizing and playing Bush II's game better even than he did, her support should have dwindled. It's weird. You have obama not taking a hard line on anything, and winning half the dem vote, and Hillary taking the other half based on pure stubbornness and cussedness.
Maybe it was race, perceptions of elitism, which as you point out  are ridiculous when Hillary's a gazillionaire. Who knows?

Their panties are still to moist from her universal healthcare proposal. She's never been really trusted but Bill Clinton is probably the first time black people have ever voted for a president to any extent and really liberal (elite) blacks love Hillary. Far left blacks believe only govt. intrusion and more welfare type programs can save poor black people. They don't believe hard work and education can 'save' black people or that blacks should fix internal problems and stop blaming white people for everything.

Maybe it was race, perceptions of elitism, which as you point out  are ridiculous when Hillary's a gazillionaire. Who knows?

It's like watching wrestling, they are suspending belief. :)
