Lots of "well, maybe, suppose this and this and this happened..."

Two people are dead.  The police have not yet released information whether it was a murder/suicide, or a double homicide.  The ONLY detail that has been released is that Jacobs was shot in the stomach.

You can talk about rare cases of multiple-shot suicides.  You can talk about "perhaps this, then this, then this happened..."  But in reality, all you are doing is spreading misinformation.  Already, tens of thousands of people have read that "Jacobs did it".  Are they going to stop back and read the retractions if it isn't true?  Of course not. 

Plus, many of you are personally and emotionally involved with it.  Leaking what your gut tells you isn't going to do anything but make the situation ugly and worse for the families.  Wait for the report.

This thread - started by you - entitled "suicide has been ruled out" - defines the term misinformation, just defines it. Yet you post in the thread, saying not to spread it.

And like I said earlier is this thread, some people knew the deal for a good year here. I agree with your sentiments, but human nature. You talked, I did, we all did.

In the end though, no matter, situation sucks. Just is horrible for both families.
