A smidgen of credit where it is due: Larry Johnson produces a picture of Michelle Obama in a group photo with Louis Farrakhan's wife, identified as "Mother Khadijah Farrakhan." The picture was taken during the
Rainbow/PUSH Coalition Conference in Chicago in 2004, as Michelle is identified as "wife of U.S. Senate candidate Barack Obama."


That's something - clearly, a similar photo of Teresa Heinz Kerry or Tipper Gore is pretty hard to imagine — but that's not exactly her berating "whitey." All this tells us is they attended the same event. (The photo also includes Shoshanna Johnson, the first African-American woman POW.)

Was Louis Farrakhan at the event? Did Michelle Obama speak at the event? If this tape exists, and this was the event in which the alleged controversial remarks occurred, how did it completely escape the attention of the Chicago media?

He said the tape exists, and that it would come out Wednesday.

he made two statements.  One of them turned out to be a lie.

I'm sure many repubs have low standards of proof before supporting something (hi WMD!) but come on...

he didn't release it as promised at 9:00 AM, 3 days ago.

however, Rush and the other right-wing guys DID use it to help raise $ for mccain.

Also stealing from a *kids charity* and being a 40 something druggie while you are a mother is also not the way to win the female vote. We are a bit sensitive over that.

Also - not to be all feminine on the board but the US and international fashion magazines love Obama. She is fast becoming a fashion icon, gets mad coverage in tons of mags. Plus the whole thing - Ivy league educated lawyer, 2 cute little daughters etc. She is bringing that Jackie O grace back.

We all know there was no tape. Johnson never said that  repubs and dems had seen the tape only that repubs and dems had confirmed the existence of the tape. Most people looked at his statement and surmised that all five of the people had been referring to the same source; most likely a Clinton staffer.

This is great news.  I didnt know  michele was getting favorable media.   Lets hope this continues, but look for bushy boy to let an altercation occur in the US to raise awareness for "terrorism"
