Well....that is one of the best, if not the best, posts I have ever seen on here!

Glad someone on here agrees with me. Seems most here on this site have been brainwashed by media flair...flash some shiny lights and dangle some shiny toys and they'll believe anything. Of course many on here would say the same thing about me, that I've been brainwashed, that I'm a hate mongering criminal if I truly believe what I do, if I truly support the right side of the fence, if I truly believe that America is still the most unstoppable country in the world.

The thing is, the same people usually voice their opinion shouting at the top of their lungs, I should be arrested according to them, or better yet, I should leave because all intelligent Americans think as they do, lol! Funny thing is, you'll rarely hear anyone on the side I stand on scream, you'll never hear them ask those who they disagree with to leave. The side of left wing thinking in America today is rooted deep in hate...it is against success it is against real education, it supports selfishness and abhors selflessness acts and thrives on the misery of the people who are blind enough to follow.

One of my favorite things I ever read was actually a bumper sticker I saw a year or two ago.

USA is disliked by many due to their foreign policy, and it is fascinating they do not see that.

I don't think most Americans who have a clue as to what's going on in the world are unaware of this. But the ones who do have a clue, they are a small minority. But They're the ones that matter so who cares.

When you come to America yourself and you're out shopping or doing what ever it is you do, odds are you're talking with the every day schmuck who has no real clue as to what's going on in the world around him. All he knows is that he lives in America, that the rest of the world dislikes us...he only knows this because he heard Brian Willimas say it on NBC news...he only caught that tid bit of info cause he was flipping channels while there was a commercial break during Wheel of Fortune.

Anyway, I agree, we are disliked by many because of our foreign policy. IMO, it wouldn't matter where or what that policy stood on though, it would still be hated.

Canadians, Brits, Swiss etc do not go on about everyone being jealous, despite coming from nations that also offer great standards.

Well, if the docs are not very good ones - that means all of America are not good - as we are often treated there - free to us of course

USA based Johns Hopkins, Lahey and Mass General are popular here. Doctors/hospital here, who are very good, treat more 'regular things' small population means certain diseases/things are only seen here maybe once a decade so does not warrant offering specialized care for it here.

Goverment pays all expenses [medical, flights, hotel, per diem] to go wherever for treatment in cases. It was great years back when we had no MRI machine, you could "mention" you had repeated headaches and run off on a free vacation. Gov wised up to us though and bought one 

My island is very very tiny and unique [tax haven and banking vibe] so not saying this works for everyone. Of course the US cant drop income and sales tax than pay for 320 million people to jet off for medical care, we can as there are like 7 of us haha.

My only point is I have much love for Americans, and many other nationalities, not bashing - merely disputing this fairytale that dislike is based on jealousy. The standard of living we get, to say we are jealous is literally delusionally hysterical.

I realize the insular attitude and complete lack of knowledge of world affairs, is reprensentative of the twits most times. Rife amongst those who have never left USA as well. My point is that many socialist policies of smaller countries can leech off the capitalist policies of the United States.

You seem to think that everything should be free. The problem with that type of thinking is that NOTHING is free. I'm pretty sure you have an infrastructure where you live. That costs money in raw materials, labor and equipment. Someone has to pay for that. Same goes for healthcare. Hospitals have to be built. Doctors don't work for free. Again, someone has to pay for that.

Socialists tend to avoid these "inconvenient truths."

I am not actually a socialist, far from it. I own my own company, and would be incensed if I was hit with corporate and income tax to support lazy people [as I view it]

My main point is, and has always been - I get free healthcare, free college without paying a red cent in income or sales tax - so why would I be jealous? It's laughable to think I would be. I could paypal someone $50,000 a year and that would strike off those benefits to me if I really wanted to change that fact

And not to sound all snotty or come across rude [genuinly don't mean to] the hows and whys are irrelevant to me. Someone does pay for all our infrastructure and benefits - and that someone is *not* the locals which makes us delirious with joy tbh.

People can post till they are blue in the face: free health, college, no income tax offers me the opportunity to enjoy having a large disposable income, and the lifestyle that accompanies that. Love it, hence am not jealous of anywhere.
