Giving Nasser 2nd to Francois at the 94 NOC was a total gift to Francois.

At least Nasser fairly destroyed him at the next year's Olympia.

No one questions his work ethics or total dedication to being the best (much like Cutler), but do you really think he had the genetics. He def has much better shape and overall aesthetics then Cutler but could he hold the size like Cutler has?

Michael was not overrated.  He was good.  He could have won the Olympia had he not had his medical problems.

Highly doubtful.  He was very good & fairly young, but he could not stand
shoulder to shoulder with the big boys.
Yes, he won the 1994 N.O.C., and 3 more shows in 1995,  but just like the rest, come Olympia time, he got destroyed.  Francois's Olympia History- 1995-7th, 1996-10th, 1997-11th.
Just like Branch Warren..2nd place in the Arnold-9th place at the Olympia.

This is true Nasser destroyed Francois at this show.

Even the FLEX magazine writer spent most of the report saying how the results were rubbish and it was Nasser 1st and Alq Gurley 2nd. You look at the pics Nasser was bigger, harder and had better shape. WTF?

So Francois coudn't stand with the big boys........Can you tell me Ronnie Coleman's Olympia history in those same years (1995,96 and 97)???

Thank you very much.

Mike is a fantasic guy and was a monumentally powerful and impressive bodybuilder. I had the pleasure to interview the man several times over the years (and hang with him, as well).

He was certainly one of bodybuilding's strongest athletes: he'd routinely lift at Westside Barbell in Ohio at one point in his physique career to further his mass. Box squats with poundage in excess of 700 pounds have been discussed by that gym's Louie Simmons. But one look by knowledeable eyes told the tale. Mike was built through heavy, basic and intense training. His legs were incredibly thick, of note in the lower quads. His back and chest were dense and awesone, too.

He was always a gentleman towards me and, in a weird way, maybe his health issues helped, in the long term, preserve his health.

if you answer my question you'll see that Ronnie coudn't "stand" with the big boys either(95,96,97)....

yet Ronnie was lucky enough to keep his health and stay on the game the following years.
