Did Ahmo Hight prevent Chris Cormier was winning a Arnold?

I was looking at a Flex magazine from May 2005 where they had the Arnold coverage. This was Chris Cormier's sixth consecutive 2nd place at the Arnold. Of course he lost to Flex in 2000, a  off the meter Ronnie Coleman in 2001, and 2002-2004 a mediocre Jay Cutler, and 2005, it was a toss up between Dex and Chris. When Culter was winning, there was no excuse, Chris had better shape, better deatil front and back, and was just as wide...Johnny Fitness would try and make excuses, but they were pathetic. The Only explanation was the politics involved in the Ahmo Hight situation. Where it was alledged that Chris hit her back in 1996. But it comes out that she was a coke addict, was doing that in front of his then very young son.

Now maybe Arnold or others would not want a woman-beater to ever win the Arnold, as to that wouldn't be a good rep for the title. Or there are judges that hold that against Chris, and mark him down for it. I can see Flex or Ronnie beating Chris, but Jay was inferior, as many have seen the pics from various Arnold's in which there were comparisons of Chris and Jay, and most here say Chris is killing Jay in all poses.

When Ahmo found out who it was she she gave him a smack through the face, he then throttled her for a few seconds.
The ex girl on the phone heard the comotion and dialed 911 and the cops came and arrested him.
Just like people on this board love to milk things, that incedent was milked for ever and his reputation was ruined.

Not that I condone such things, but their relationship is typical...A dude who is just "there", he ain't perfect, but gets hooked up with a hot, yet trashy chick...I think most of the fitness chicks back then were trashy, all except for Madonna Grimes and 2 other chicks (Amy Fadhli and another chick) seem to have things going for them...Carol Semple-Marzetta was rumored to have her husband hire black bbers  to run thru her while he watched.

I firmly believe that there is bad blood for that incident, and Chris has been crucified and vilified for it.

Damn...there is that phone thing again.

Two fellow promoters and I met up with Cormier back when there was still a NOC in NY....we tried to talk to him about guesting at one of our CT shows....he just could not stay off the friggin phone....my partners said, "No way..."

Lets not exagerrate things, Chris lost fairly in 02 & 03 against Cutler.
The 2004 AC was a completly different story because Jay should of been 3rd place behind Dexter and Chris, how is it possible that Dexter beat an on Jay Cutler at the 2003 GNC and lose against a totally off Cutler (worst of his career) at the ASC not too long after? If anything Dexter only got better from that GNC contest.

Chris beat Jay convincly at the 04 ASC and they didnt give him the win, he should have that trophy in his cabinet.

Victor Martinez had a felony and won....so I don't think that it mattered.  Chris was not going to beat Jay b/c Jay was the "hot" bber at that time.  I do think that he beat Dexter when he won his first Arnold.

Priest did beat him in Australia a few years ago, he complained about being beaten by some one who was 4 foot tall

Naw, all the pics I have seen back from 2002-2004, Jay was weak as hell, he was getting more gift than Richie Rich at X-mas. I don't have the mags, but, Jay had nooooback detail and just was plain awful. Chris is a 5 time winner of the Ironman and would bring his A game for the Arnold, but he got fuked.

Yeah, but alot people in the industry wanted to plow Hight, and were pissed that Chris smacked the coke out of her...Judges remember that shit, not doing time for some stupid shit...but that is remembered as well.
