OK, technically, I can publish my own bank checks and they have to honor them right?  sure, I think that's right.  There's programs to do your own checks and shit.  So If I send my credit card company a check that's 4 X 12 feet written in glittered Elmer's glue, they have to take it right?

I don't know about the legality of this, but I remember when I opened a back account in California they gave me more cheques that I will use in my lifetime, all of them with fucking Disney characters on them

Yes, as long as the transit and account numbers are correct and your signature is affixed.

It may take longer to clear as it will have to be done manually, since digital and electronic encoding won't be there,
...but it's still valid.
