Even if we think we know he was talking about roids what Chick is trying to say was the comment was vague and wouldn't hold an once of water in the court of law, hence the actual words used could mean anything. Who the hell cares anyway this is how immature you all sound like a bunch of grade four's that just found out that there is no santa clause.

Wow... You can not be serious. I actually think it is refreshing to see an air of honesty. I don't think Jay came off as being stupid or arrogant, but rather brutal honesty to justify the ends for his means.

Chick is correct, however, you can see the years of steroid denial bleeding through in this post. I'm sure he's been asked this by regular people for years. Probably says, "It's just diet and genetics."

On a message board, everyone admits to gear use...in actual every day life, roid users are the most secretive people out there. They know by admitting that to a regular person, they'll associate them with being a drug abuser/cheater.

Jay's cockiness surprisingly isn't as repulsive as i thought it would be, weird. I guess I'd rather see him be confident and show some persoanlity, then be quite and boring. I think Jay overstated things in the "heat of the moment". I'm pretty sure he would consider synthol, implants, and things like that as cheating as would anyone with common sense.

The problem here is that people are taking his words too literally and putting them a bit beyond context. Keep in mind that he is addressing regular people, whose impression of steroids is not that of bodybuilding minded ~~schmoes~~ "fitness enthusiasts". In the course of trying to dumb it down for those that doesn't know anything about steroids, he overstates that "nothing in bb'ing is cheating", when what he is really trying to say is that "there is a level playing field as regards to steroids, and it is upto you how much you wanna push the limits".
