Wandy vs. Vera on July 19th

The UFC is planning a free event to be aired on SpikeTv on July 19 (five weeks notice), specifically to rival the Affliction PPV that same day.  Vera/Silva (at 205lbs) more than likely would headline that card.

And not a good fight for Wand, it will be a rough fight...win/lose or draw. Dana needs to build Wand up with a gimme fight, not another tough matchup. I can't recall the last time Wand had an easy fight, and to think there was the consensus that he fought cans.

Only way to find out is check out the list of medical suspensions from UFC 85, the only thing is, it was in Europe, so I don't know that they make that info public like the US. Athletic commisions do.

That's about the only fight they could throw together that would put any kind of minute dent in the Affliction armor on July 19th, since it aint gonna happen, I'll probably just DVR the shitty UFC card, while opting to buy the Pride-esque Affliction PPV.
