Although on principle your theory is correct, human beings get inspired by others...Anything that makes your mind think is a good thing(one can even debate the hitler years being a good thing)...Capitalism is strong because we look at what others do...Sporting events is just another form of something that humans do...

My guess is that you are not the creator of the arm band...Which means you followed someone else...When you melted down and posted it on youtube for all to see over Squadfather, you were just following suit to all the other "followers" who just didn't get it...

I have a friend that has been a WWE wrestler for many years...He stated to me that Goldberg left wrestling because everytime he would speak up at a meeting, he would hear people mumble "armband" and shit like that...The guy basically blew his top and had to be restrainted by people that could litteraly fck him up...The rule was, if you had an armband, whatever you had to say after that meant nothing...
