yes you're right. I'm way off base assuming that at some point the African American community as a whole would take some accountability for their actions and standing in society. I mean it's not like Jews weren't made to be slaves and killed off by the millions.

I do research on prisons and I've interviewed a few women who did much worse to their kids (though it was usually them being all drugged out and their boyfriends being much worse).  If you've ever seen the movie Hellraiser, it's like they wanted to make their kid look like one of the cenobytes.  Some people are just plain bad.
