Is she a traitor - Becky Hammon?

Never heard of this commie bitch before today, but do agree that using the free market to make as much money as possible is what Americans do best.  I grew up during the Cold War, though.  As much as I love my Russian friends and neighbors, there's no way (even if I were a top athlete) that I would ever represent Russia in the Olympics Incorporated.

Ehh...it's a basketball game. Whether she loves her country or not, that's her business. All these idiots who go around saying patriotism is sticking five million flags on your car/house and driving around with a gun rack in the back of your truck...

Now if she were spying/compromising national security...that would be a different story.

The Olympics are gay and no one cares about them. So she's not a traitor. She hasn't done anything crazy like outing a CIA operative.

Jealousy....she's making a ton of money playing club ball in Russia. Furthermore, we have athletes from all other countries that compete for us and that's been going on for years. This is a non issue

I can see how people would be offended, but Olympic teams have been swiping, or trying to swipe, people forever nothing new there.

It's just press as it's pretty unusual for it to be an American playing for Russia. The eastern bloc normally got swiped from, I see they are turning the tables. We had a West Indian sprinter run for them last Olympics also.
