OFF SCOTT-FREE A multi-millionaire playboy, dubbed "Britain's vainest man", has escaped a prison sentence after being convicted of assault. Scott Alexander, who spends £100,000 a year on anti-aging growth hormones, slapped an estate agent in the face and pushed him against a wall when he couldn't give the exact answer to a question posed about a Manchester property. Alexander was fined £500 and ordered to pay £500 compensation and £250 in costs to the estate agent in question, who suffered bruising. Alexander has vowed to appeal.

ALEXANDER TOWN A multi-millionaire property tycoon has bought his own town for £3 million and plans to name it after himself. Scott Alexander bought the Bulgarian coastal town from an entrepreneur and plans to turn it into a holiday hotspot for British tourists. "The name is really hard to pronounce. I've decided to call it Alexander, which I suppose is quite cheeky," the 31-year-old said. Alexander hopes that purchasing the town, the current name of which must remain secret until the deal is completed, will help him achieve his goal of a £100 million fortune: "When you get to that point I think you can start boasting."
