I used to have a pretty decent Ibanez.  The original Wizard necks were great.

learning is easy. it's developing the dexerity that's the crux of it. that's where the time comes in.

Bass is the way to go.

Everyone and the mother is a guitarist.  But bass players are hard to come by.  You'll always have work.  I know a million guitarists looking for work.  But every bassist I know plays out 2-4 nights a week steady.  I played guitar for 10 years before going to bass, and I can school most of the guitarists I play with, but I prefer bass because of job security.

come on now, I play drums and I've heard that about drummers. Bottom line is if you have chops you get work no matter what you play. I jammed with some bassist jerk off who said we were playing to fast yet he refused to play with a pick. Jam session ended when I kept calling him Les Claypool Jr.

It depends on how old you are, and what you want to put into it.
The parts of that song I watched are easy for a guitar player.

Let me give you a tip.  Stay out of the music business.

How many guitarists does it take to change a light bulb?

Ten, one to change it, and the other nine to say, "I can do that."

He's quite the freak. Extremely accurate and although he's shredding 24/7 he's still entertaining.
