90.  Feels like 99 according to weather.com

I just cleaned out the truck and I'm drenched.  Sure beats the cold tho.  Winter sucks.

Home base, Escondido, SoCal, about the low 100's. Palm Springs was at 114 or so yesterday. Worked around Oro Grande and the Mojave river bed at a surface mining opertation (summer job) where it got to an easy 105 to 112 degrees daily. Funny thing is, after a few days the body seems to adapted to that dry heat. If you kept up the water most of the day,that is.  I had a shoveling job most of the day. Had to earn that college money some way and kepted me in shape for football.
