Need help with cycle (water retention)
« on: June 23, 2008, 06:10:43 PM »
Im doing a 12 week cycle. First 3 weeks will be sus 250, the remainder will be enanthanate or cyp. Im tryin to minimize water retention as much as possible. Last time around I had about 10 lbs water weight by the end of the cycle. I was thinking anavar mayb? or halotestin? Im new when it comes to aas so Im lookin for experienced users opinions. Thanks in advance.

Ps. did first shot of sus yesterday at close to 1.5 cc. will be shooting 3 times a week with the sus and then coming down to a lil over 2 with the cyp/e.

Not saying its you, but lots of people say "hey this gear put tons of water weight on me"  When in reality they just got fat.  Watch your carbs.

I hear you, I eat all whole wheat pasta/bread. I just figure its better to take in more than less when on. What about anavar for strength muscle hardness? Worth it for a beginner like myself? Im trying to maximize lean muscle gains and minimize fat and water weight as much as possible.

LUV is right. If you're trying to maximize lean gains, you should not be eating pasta or bread...even whole wheat.

Keep your carbs in the "extra" good categories, i.e. whole oats, sweet potatoes, PW, carbs such as waxy, etc.

Anavar would be an OK choice. Personally I'd go with Winny.

yeah good to eat lots when trying to get bigger.  But if your goal is to lean up then you need to eat less.  For sure say goodbye to wheat stuff like bread and pasta when trying to harden up.  They make rice pasta you know?  But I would not eat that either unless you can keep the portions really small.

Go for less processed foods such as sweet potatos, oatmeal, some veggies, brown rice and dont eat tons of them.  Replace some of the carb calories with protien and/or healthy fats.

Yeah and what AJ said about the AI is also correct.

I live off yams, brown rice and oats while bulking, wouldn't touch anything else really.

I personally prefer Aromasin over Letro or Adex.  12.5mgs ED is a good place to start with it.

yep,, clean carbs and as little as u need to function is the real key, sweet pots and oats have always worked best with me...

arimidex has always kept me water free, natural diuretics can help too such as dandilion root etc, a good dose of effervesant vit c everyday can help too

Thanks for all the replies guys . More than helpful.

Just one more thing, Im not familiar with a cut diet as I have a pretty fast metabolism and have always been slim/cut so I usually eat anything and everything. But im trying to take it to the next level. So what number should I shoot for as far as carbs per day. Im 5'11 about 180. Although Id like to get shredded, i prioritize gains in general over being shredded so Im not sure where I should set the carbs at.. Protein is at around 280-300 g per day and I keep fat to an absolute minimum.

okay well start eating some healthy fat in your diet.  the best fats are things like fish oil and flax seed. but all nuts are good fats as well. olives are good too.

for your carbohydrates, how about you cycle your intake.  take what you eat on an average  day right now, and make that day 1. on day two drop your carb intake by 50 grams. day 3 drop it another 50.  day 4 drop it another 50. then day 5 repeat day 1, and so on.

Palumbo recommends arimidex.

No reason to use it anymore with better alternatives such as Aromasin.
