At 36 years of age, Shaq is too old to be saying things like "Kobe couldn't do it without me". 

I've always liked and supported Shaq, but that was just f'n petty.

Having a kid at 16 brands you a whore for life. ;)  You're better off aborting it and saving face.  She and her boyfriend obviously do not know about what I call the "Insurance Policy".  Understandable, as it's kind of an advanced technique.

disagree.  shaq was in the finals with orlando without Kobe.  He lost.
Together, they won 3 rings and lost the finals once.
Alone, kobe lost in the finals.

But only shaq managed to win in the finals alone, with the heat in 06.

Kobe pushed shaq out of town with all his talk about leading his team to the ring without shaq.  But he can't do it.  Maybe next year, yada yada.  But he had his stage to shine against a drama queen Celtics team who should have had their spirit broken in game 1.  Jordan would have won it in 5, we all know that.

Just because Gasol and Odom decided to shrink doesn't mean they aren't great players.

Jordan had a scrub named Cartwright would limped around and missed open layups.  He had horace Grant, whose confidence would get rattled and he'd throw up airballs. He had pippen who was very good, but very close to odom.  He had BJ armstrong, who was 6 foot nothing and could shoot but didn't have the posting power of Derek Fischer down there.

Kobe had a good team.  You put 1993 MJ in his place on the 08 lakers, and we both know Boston is sitll crying today...

Even in light of all the holes in the team game, L.A. had a very legitimate shot to win it in 5 games (they gave away Game 1 and should've stolen Game 2) and, at worse, should've come back to Boston up 3-2 in the series. 

Epic screw-up by Garnett of his Adidas commercial in the post-game interview.  He shouted "Anything is possible!", but the actual line should've been "Impossible is nothing".   hahahaha
